We are very happy with the workshops. I have already received two trees that are under my care. Many volunteers came to my house to plant them and provided us with instructions on how to care for them. The workshops were very informative and gave us the opportunity to decide, as a community, where we want shade, whether in schools, churches, or other places. Many thanks to the organizers, as this is a great help. / Estamos muy contentos con los talleres. Ya recibí dos árboles que están bajo mi cuidado. Muchos voluntarios vinieron a casa para plantarlos y nos proporcionaron instrucciones sobre cómo cuidarlos. Urban Nature, led by Arizona State University’s Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service — in partnership with community-based organizations, industry partners, national organizations, and several ASU departments — works to scale nature-based urban shade solutions, sustain a community trade school and enterprise hub, and advance place-based applied urban forestry research.
